This ATS Diesel deep transmission pan provides a significant upgrade over the shallow factory stamped-steel unit. By adding an additional 5 quarts of fluid capacity, it helps stabilize operating temperatures and reduces the thermal load on your transmission during heavy towing or high-performance use. The heavy-duty cast aluminum construction not only dissipates heat more effectively than steel but also adds structural rigidity to the transmission case, helping to prevent case twisting under high torque loads.
