The BAKFlip MX4 (Gen 3) is a heavy-duty, hard-folding truck bed cover designed for maximum security and utility. Constructed with high-density polymer-reinforced aluminum panels, this next-generation MX4 offers a 22 percent increase in strength over previous models. Its flush-mount design provides a sleek, low-profile appearance while maintaining a robust 400 lb. weight capacity.
Security is handled by a patented auto-latching system and re-engineered lock components designed to resist forced entry. For weather protection, the MX4 utilizes revised EPDM rubber perimeter seals and a 13 percent longer dual-action tailgate seal that allows you to close the tailgate regardless of whether the cover is open or closed. The cover provides 100 percent bed access by folding upright against the cab, where it is secured by re-engineered prop rod clips and protected by premium rubber bumpers.
