The Banks Power Techni-Cooler Intercooler System (MPN 25982) is engineered to maximize air density and cooling efficiency for the 6.6L Duramax engine. By replacing the restrictive factory intercooler, which features a single plastic end tank prone to failure under pressure, the Techni-Cooler provides a significant upgrade in both durability and airflow. This system utilizes a thicker core with 25% more flow volume and two custom-machined cast aluminum end tanks that won't melt or burst under high-boost conditions.

By packing cooler, denser air into the cylinders, the Techni-Cooler improves fuel burn and reduces exhaust gas temperatures (EGTs). This results in higher continuous-duty power, improved fuel economy, and better turbo spool-up. For maximum performance, this system is compatible with the optional 25936 Boost Tube Upgrade Kit.
