The Banks Power 5" Monster Exhaust is a DPF-back system engineered to solve the restrictive flow and excessive heat issues inherent to the factory L5P exhaust. By replacing the stock 2.85" outlet with a constant-diameter 5" mandrel-bent 409 stainless steel system, Banks provides a 192% greater flow area. This translates to an 85% reduction in backpressure, allowing the engine to breathe more efficiently, which can lead to increased horsepower and improved fuel economy.

Safety is a key feature of the Monster Exhaust. During the Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) regeneration cycle, exhaust temperatures can become extreme. While the stock nozzle can direct a focused blast of heat at your trailer, the Banks SideKick tip is aimed to the side and designed to allow ambient air to diffuse heated gases. This design results in exhaust temperatures 15% lower than stock at two feet behind the tip, protecting your trailer and gear from heat damage.
