The Banks Power Monster-Ram Intake System (42799-B) is engineered to eliminate the primary bottleneck in the 6.7L Cummins intake tract while protecting your engine from catastrophic failure. This system replaces the restrictive factory intake elbow and the failure-prone factory grid heater with a high-flow intake plate and a 3-3/8 inch inlet elbow. By removing the stock heater, you eliminate the risk of the internal heater bolt backing out and falling into the engine, a known cause of severe internal damage.

This dual-heat capable system includes a high-flow coil heater that restores cold-start performance without the airflow penalty of the OE unit. The Monster-Ram outflows the stock assembly by 88.3%, optimizing air pressure distribution and raising boost levels without increasing turbine drive pressure. Designed for easy installation, it utilizes factory mounting points and includes a proprietary fuel line to accommodate the larger casting.
