The Banks Power Ram-Air Differential Cover (MPN 19262) is engineered to solve the inherent cooling deficiencies of standard flat-back aftermarket covers. While high-capacity covers often rely solely on increased oil volume, the patented Ram-Air system uses external scoops to force high-velocity air through integrated heat radiation fins. This design actively overcomes the "dead air zone" behind the differential housing, providing superior cooling during sustained high-load towing and highway driving.

Beyond thermal management, the internal geometry features a ring gear raceway that guides lubricant directly to the ring and pinion interface and out to the axle tube bearings. This ensures optimal lubrication even under extreme stress. Maintenance is simplified with a built-in sight glass, an angled fill port, and a magnetic drain plug to capture ferrous wear particles.
