Fits 1986-1993 Ford Mustang GT, LX, and SVT Cobra models equipped with the 5.0L V8 engine.
The BBK Performance fenderwell-style cold air intake is engineered to replace the restrictive factory air box on Fox Body Mustangs. By relocating the air filter into the fenderwell area, this system pulls cooler, denser air from outside the engine compartment rather than the heated air under the hood. This design improves throttle response and increases overall power output across the RPM range. The kit is a direct bolt-on replacement that can be installed in under an hour using basic hand tools.
