The BBK Performance High Flow X-pipe (MPN: 1670) is engineered as a direct replacement for the restrictive factory mid-pipe, providing an immediate improvement in exhaust scavenging and flow. This assembly features a unique center X-section designed to balance exhaust pulses, delivering a classic V8 muscle car growl and improved performance at the rear wheels.
Each unit is constructed from 16-gauge, 2.5-inch CNC mandrel-bent aluminized steel tubing to ensure consistent diameter throughout the bends. These X-pipes include high-flow catalytic converters for maximum exhaust velocity and are designed to bolt directly to factory shorty headers or any aftermarket shorty exhaust system. With factory O2 sensor placement integrated into the design, installation is straightforward and does not require custom fabrication.
