The BBS TS-R brings motorsport-grade engineering to the off-road and adventure segment. Part of the BBS Truck series, this wheel is manufactured using a specialized counter-pressure casting process to create a dense blank, followed by flow-forming the rim barrel. This flow-forming technique stretches and compresses the aluminum to achieve a grain structure and impact resistance comparable to a forged wheel while maintaining a significantly lower weight than standard gravity-cast wheels. Optimized through Finite Element Method (FEM) analysis, the multi-spoke TS-R design sheds excess mass without compromising structural integrity or load capacity.

Installation requires aftermarket 60-degree conical (tapered) seat lug nuts; factory Toyota mag-style or flat-seat nuts are not compatible. For vehicles with a hub diameter smaller than 106.1mm (such as Chevrolet or GMC 1500 models with 78.1mm hubs), hub-centric rings (106.1mm OD to vehicle-specific ID) are recommended to ensure a vibration-free ride. On newer TNGA-F platforms like the 4th-gen Tacoma, the ET0 offset provides an aggressive outward stance; always test fit the wheel to verify brake caliper and suspension clearance before mounting tires. Always use a manual torque wrench for final tightening to avoid seat damage.
