The BD Diesel TapShifter and Exhaust Brake kit provides complete manual control over your transmission's shifting and braking performance. Designed for towing, racing, and street use, this kit replaces the factory shift lever with a new Ford OE 6.7L-style lever featuring an integrated +/- selector switch. This allows you to eliminate gear hunting on steep climbs, lock out overdrive, and manually command the torque converter lockup for maximum efficiency.

Beyond shifting, this system utilizes the factory variable geometry turbocharger (VGT) to act as an exhaust brake. By managing the turbo vanes, it delivers up to 70psi of retarding backpressure, significantly reducing service brake wear and increasing safety during heavy-load descents. The system includes a mini gear selection display and premade wiring harnesses for a clean, professional installation.
