The Bilstein B8 8100 reservoir shock absorber is a high-performance, large-bore damping solution designed specifically for vehicles with 0-2 inches of rear lift. Featuring a massive 2.65-inch OD body and a 60mm digressive piston, this shock provides significantly increased oil volume to combat heat soak and maintain consistent damping over long distances and rough terrain. The remote reservoir configuration is engineered for a direct-fit installation into factory mounting points.
Constructed from aerospace-quality billet components, the B8 8100 utilizes a monotube gas-pressurized design to prevent fluid aeration and performance fade. The velocity-sensitive digressive valving is application-specific, tuned to provide the FJ Cruiser with superior off-road control without sacrificing on-road ride quality.
