The Bilstein B8 5100 (Ride Height Adjustable) shock absorber is a high-performance monotube solution designed for trucks and SUVs with front OE coilover-style suspensions. It provides a practical, engineered alternative to coil spring spacers, allowing owners to level their vehicle's stance while improving damping characteristics and wheel travel.
Each shock features multiple snap-ring grooves in the body, which allow for different spring seat positions to achieve 0 to 2.75 inches of front lift using original equipment springs. The 46mm monotube design utilizes a digressive piston and self-adjusting deflective disc valving, ensuring consistent, fade-free performance and precise handling across varying road surfaces and off-road conditions.
