The Bilstein B8 5100 (Ride Height Adjustable) shock absorber is a performance-driven leveling solution designed for trucks with a front OE coilover-style suspension. Unlike standard spacer kits, these shocks utilize multiple snap-ring grooves in the body to adjust the spring seat position, allowing for 0 to 2.75 inches of front lift while reusing the factory springs. This design improves the vehicle's stance while maintaining proper suspension geometry.
Constructed with a 46mm monotube design, these shocks feature a digressive piston and a self-adjusting deflective disc valve setting. This allows the shock to instantly react to changes in the road surface, providing consistent, fade-free performance and improved handling. Whether you are navigating highway commutes or off-road trails, the B8 5100 series provides increased wheel travel and superior damping control.
