The Bilstein B8 8100 (MPN: 25-316773) is a high-performance, large-bore shock absorber designed as a direct-fit solution for trucks with up to 0.5 inches of rear lift. Built for long-distance durability on rough terrain, the 2.65-inch outer diameter body provides significantly higher oil volume than standard shocks. This increased capacity allows for superior heat management, preventing fade during sustained off-road use.
Constructed from aerospace-quality billet components, this monotube shock features a 60mm large-bore piston and application-specific digressive valving. This setup provides velocity-sensitive control, delivering a smooth ride on-road while maintaining the firmness required for aggressive trail driving. The B8 8100 includes a unique remote or piggyback reservoir for a hassle-free installation that utilizes factory mounting points.
