The Bilstein B8 8112 Black Hawk is a high-performance, 3-way adjustable coilover designed to provide superior damping control for late-model Ford Broncos. Built around a massive 2.65-inch aluminum body, this front-left assembly utilizes Bilstein’s ZoneControl® CR technology to deliver position-sensitive damping. This system employs three independent pistons to manage three compression zones and two rebound zones, providing a smooth ride over minor road imperfections while effectively eliminating harsh bottom-outs during high-velocity off-road impacts.
Equipped with a finned aluminum remote reservoir, the B8 8112 maximizes oil capacity and heat dissipation to prevent shock fade during sustained use. Drivers can fine-tune their suspension with dual-speed external clicker knobs for high and low-speed compression, alongside an adjustable internal hydraulic bump stop (JCO) for ultimate bottom-out protection.
