The Bilstein B8 5160 remote reservoir shock absorber is engineered as a bolt-on performance upgrade for 2014-2025 Ram 2500 trucks. By utilizing an external reservoir, this shock provides significantly increased oil capacity, leading to superior heat dissipation and more consistent damping during aggressive off-road use or heavy towing. The 46mm monotube design paired with velocity-sensitive digressive valving ensures fade-free performance by reacting instantly to changing surface conditions.
Each rear shock features a unique 360-degree swivel banjo hose fitting for a clean, low-profile installation that clears factory components. Tuned specifically for the heavy-duty Ram platform, the B8 5160 optimizes wheel travel and durability in the harshest environments.
