The Bilstein B8 5160 remote reservoir shock absorber is engineered as a direct-fit bolt-on solution for lifted Ram 1500 trucks. By utilizing a remote reservoir, these shocks provide significantly increased oil capacity, allowing for superior heat dissipation and consistent, fade-free damping performance during high-speed off-road use or extended wheel travel.
Each shock features a 46mm monotube design and is equipped with velocity-sensitive digressive valving, specifically tuned for the Ram chassis to ensure immediate response to changing terrain. The 360-degree swivel banjo hose fitting provides a clean, low-profile installation while maintaining maximum durability in harsh environments.
