The Bilstein B8 5160 remote reservoir shock absorber is designed as a direct-fit solution for lifted trucks. By utilizing a remote reservoir, this shock provides increased oil capacity for superior heat dissipation and extended wheel travel compared to traditional monotube designs. This configuration is specifically engineered to maintain consistent damping performance during high-demand use in off-road environments.
Built with a 46mm monotube design, the 5160 series features velocity-sensitive digressive disc valving that reacts instantly to terrain changes, ensuring fade-free performance. Each unit is equipped with a 360-degree swivel banjo hose fitting for a versatile, low-profile installation and includes a billet reservoir mount where applicable for secure attachment.
