Bilstein B6 Performance DampTronic dampers are engineered as a direct performance upgrade for the BMW M5 (E60) equipped with factory electronic suspension. These dampers are specifically designed to be paired with original equipment springs, ensuring a perfect fit and maintaining the full functionality of the factory Electronic Damping Control (EDC). By utilizing the factory controls, drivers can continue to switch rapidly between comfort and sport settings while benefiting from Bilstein's superior damping technology.
Each damper features a monotube gas pressure design and undergoes rigorous testing to meet or exceed OE standards. The application-specific valving is tuned to provide a marked improvement in handling, stability, and safety, bringing out the best performance characteristics of the E60 chassis without requiring additional hardware modifications.
