The Bilstein B8 5160 remote reservoir shock absorber is engineered as a high-performance, direct-fit solution for the Mercedes-Benz G-Class. By utilizing a remote reservoir, this shock significantly increases oil capacity for superior heat dissipation, preventing shock fade during aggressive off-road use or extended travel on washboard roads. The 46mm monotube design provides consistent damping performance across a wide range of temperatures.
Equipped with velocity-sensitive digressive valving, these shocks are tuned to react instantly to surface changes, maximizing wheel control and stability. The 360-degree swivel banjo hose fitting and clean reservoir mounting system ensure a low-profile, professional installation on the G-Wagon chassis.
