The Bilstein B8 Performance Plus rear damper is an application-specific monotube shock absorber designed to be paired with aftermarket lowering springs or production sport suspensions. Unlike standard dampers, the B8 features a shorter stroke length to maintain proper spring preload and optimized travel on lowered chassis, ensuring consistent contact and improved handling dynamics.
Utilizing Bilstein’s signature gas pressure technology, the 36mm monotube design provides instantaneous reaction to road surfaces and superior heat dissipation under heavy use.
