Fits select 2016-2025 Mazda MX-5 Miata and 2017-2020 Fiat 124 Spider models. This Bilstein B8 Performance Plus damper (MPN 24-249638) is an application-specific rear shock absorber engineered to replace original equipment (OE) dampers when upgrading to aftermarket lowering springs.
Unlike standard dampers, the B8 series features shortened stroke and specific internal valving to optimize the handling characteristics of a lowered chassis. The gas-pressure monotube design provides superior heat dissipation and consistent, fade-free damping performance under aggressive driving conditions.
