The Bilstein B8 5165 remote reservoir shock absorber is engineered for custom off-road applications where consistent damping and increased wheel travel are critical. This high-pressure gas monotube shock features a 46mm piston and a remote reservoir that significantly increases oil capacity for superior heat dissipation during aggressive use in light trucks and SUVs.
Designed for versatile installation, each unit is equipped with a unique 360-degree swivel banjo hose fitting to allow for clean, low-profile reservoir mounting. The self-adjusting deflective disc valving reacts instantly to terrain changes, providing precise control and durability in harsh environments. This model features 5/8-inch eyelet mounts with hourglass bushings on both ends to ensure a secure fit for custom suspension builds.
