The Bilstein B8 5165 Series is a high-pressure gas monotube shock absorber engineered for custom off-road applications on light trucks and SUVs. This remote reservoir unit is designed to provide consistent, fade-free damping by significantly increasing oil capacity for superior heat dissipation during aggressive trail use or high-speed desert driving.
Constructed with a 46mm monotube piston, the B8 5165 features self-adjusting deflective disc valving that reacts instantly to terrain changes, ensuring maximum vehicle control. To facilitate a clean installation on custom builds, each shock is equipped with a 360-degree swivel banjo hose fitting for flexible reservoir mounting. The zinc-plated finish provides durable protection against the elements in harsh off-road environments.
