Designed for custom off-road configurations, the Bilstein B8 5165 series provides the damping control and heat management required for light trucks and SUVs in demanding environments. This high-pressure monotube shock features a remote reservoir that significantly increases oil capacity for improved heat dissipation and consistent performance during extended cycling. A unique 360-degree swivel banjo hose fitting allows for a clean, low-profile reservoir mounting solution in tight wheel wells.
- Damping Performance: 46mm monotube design ensures fade-free performance and immediate reaction to surface changes via self-adjusting deflective disc valving.
- Mounting: Standard 5/8-inch eyelet mounts with hourglass bushings on both ends for secure installation in custom applications.
- Travel & Valving: 8.8-inch stroke length with a 255/70 valve rate to suit specific vehicle weights and suspension geometries.
