The BMC FB01022 Full Kit is a high-performance intake solution designed to replace the restrictive factory paper elements in the McLaren 720S. Engineered specifically for the 4.0L twin-turbocharged engine, these filters utilize a multi-layered cotton gauze media soaked in low-viscosity oil to capture impurities as small as 7 microns while significantly increasing airflow volume to the combustion chamber.
Constructed using a specialized molding process that results in a single-piece filter with no welded joints, these units eliminate the risk of breakage under high-pressure conditions. The filter media is protected by an epoxy-coated alloy mesh, ensuring structural integrity and resistance to fuel vapors and oxidation.
