Protect your drivetrain and comply with NHRA safety regulations with the BMR Suspension Driveshaft Safety Loop. Designed for street, drag race, and top-speed applications, this safety loop is engineered to contain the driveshaft in the event of a U-joint or transmission failure, preventing the shaft from breaching the floor pan or digging into the track surface.
The DSL009H is manufactured from heavy-duty 1/4-inch laser-cut and CNC-formed plate steel for maximum structural integrity. Its unique two-piece design allows for a straightforward installation without requiring the removal of the driveshaft. The unit welds directly to the factory floor support behind the transmission and attaches to the factory driveshaft tunnel brace using the provided Grade 8 hardware.
