Every SP009R spring is manufactured from chrome silicon high-tensile spring wire and cold-wound on a CNC coiling machine to ensure consistent diameters across the set. To eliminate the risk of future sag, BMR compresses each spring solid twice at the factory to give it a permanent set. The springs undergo a stress-relief process at 750 degrees Fahrenheit and are shot-peened to remove residual surface stresses, increasing fatigue life. As a final quality control step, every spring is computer-tested for precise load and length measurements before leaving the facility.
