This 100% bolt-on upgrade is designed for select 2008-2017 Chevrolet Camaro, SS, and Pontiac G8 models to eliminate floor and driveshaft tunnel deflection during aggressive maneuvering. By replacing or supporting the factory brace with a significantly more rigid structure, you gain increased steering feel and stability on the street or track without any increase in Noise, Vibration, or Harshness (NVH).
BMR manufactures this brace in the USA from heavy-duty 1x2-inch rectangular steel tubing and CNC laser-cut 3/16-inch steel plate. The design effectively bridges key points of the floor pan to resist lateral loads and chassis twist. Installation is straightforward, utilizing existing factory mounting holes and hardware, typically requiring less than one hour with basic hand tools.
