Fits 1998-2002 Chevrolet Camaro (Z28, SS) and Pontiac Firebird (Formula, Trans Am) equipped with LS1 engines.
The BMR Suspension KM003R Tubular K-Member is a 100-percent bolt-in solution designed to reduce front-end weight, increase chassis rigidity, and provide critical clearance for large-tube headers and turbocharger kits. Engineered for street performance, drag racing, and road course applications, this K-member replaces the bulky factory unit with a high-strength, lightweight design. BMR utilizes integrated frame stands to replace the heavy factory cast iron stands, allowing for thicker mounting plates and larger diameter tubing without a weight penalty.
- Manufactured from 1-5/8-inch x 0.120-wall and 1-1/4-inch x 0.095-wall DOM steel tubing
- Includes integrated LS1 motor mounts and standard factory steering rack mounts
- Red powdercoat finish for long-lasting corrosion resistance
- Significant weight reduction; up to 42 lbs when combined with BMR A-arms
- Direct bolt-on installation using factory mounting points; no modifications required
- Estimated installation time: 4-5 hours
