The BorgWarner EFR 9280 B2 SuperCore assembly provides a high-performance foundation for custom turbocharger configurations. As a SuperCore, this unit includes the complete rotating assembly (CHRA) and compressor housing but excludes the turbine housing, allowing you to select the specific A/R and flange type required for your exhaust manifold setup.
Built on the B2 frame, the EFR 9280 features a forged milled compressor wheel (FMW) and a lightweight Gamma-Ti turbine wheel for rapid spool-up and high-flow efficiency. This specific model utilizes a rugged cast iron bearing housing, providing exceptional thermal stability and durability for high-heat applications. Dual ceramic ball bearings minimize friction and improve transient response across the entire powerband.
