The Borla S-Type Cat-Back system (part number 140517) is engineered to optimize exhaust velocity and flow for the Mini's 1.6L turbocharged engine. Utilizing 2.25-inch diameter mandrel-bent tubing, this system eliminates the restrictions found in factory piping to deliver the signature Borla sound profile—aggressive under acceleration without the resonant interior drone typically found in lesser systems. The dual-outlet muffler is finished with single 4-inch round, mirror-polished T-304 stainless steel tips on each outlet.
Constructed entirely from premium T-304 stainless steel, this exhaust system offers superior corrosion resistance compared to 400-series alternatives.
