The Borla S-Type Axle-Back exhaust system (11970) is engineered to enhance the fourth-generation Mazda 3 with a deeper, sportier acoustic profile without cabin drone. This rear-section system replaces the factory muffler assembly using a direct bolt-on design that utilizes OEM mounting points for a straightforward installation. Constructed from high-quality T-304 stainless steel, the system features ultra-smooth mandrel-bent 2.5-inch tubing that transitions into dual 2-inch pipes, optimizing exhaust flow for improved efficiency and throttle response.
The system is finished with dual 4-inch round, bright chrome-on-stainless steel tips designed to properly fill the factory rear bumper cutouts. Every Borla system is manufactured using precision CNC technology to ensure an accurate fit and is backed by their industry-leading Million-Mile Warranty.
