This Borla S-Type axle-back exhaust system (MPN 11989) is specifically engineered to unlock the acoustic potential of the 1.3L Turbo Dodge Hornet. By eliminating the restrictive factory muffler, Borla delivers the signature S-Type sound profile—aggressive under acceleration yet composed enough for daily driving. This muffler-delete design ensures maximum exhaust gas velocity while maintaining the Borla No-Drone guarantee for cabin comfort.
Built from premium T-304 austenitic stainless steel, the system uses 2.25-inch mandrel-bent tubing to maintain consistent diameter and flow. It is finished with dual 2.38-inch round brushed T-304 stainless steel tips that feature a laser-cut Borla logo and exit cleanly through the original equipment (O.E.) rear valance. Precision CNC manufacturing ensures this bolt-on system provides an accurate fit to factory mounting points.
