The Borla CrateMuffler is the first exhaust component specifically engineered to optimize the acoustic signature and power delivery of performance crate engines. This S-Type muffler is precision-tuned for the Small Block Chevy (SBC) Hot 350 and 383 engine families, designed to eliminate interior drone while delivering an aggressive, high-performance exhaust note.
Built from premium T-304 stainless steel, this muffler provides superior corrosion resistance and longevity compared to 400-series alternatives. The directional flow design features a specific inlet and outlet orientation; the outlet is identified by the mounting bracket welded to the endcap for a proper installation. For users seeking a more subdued volume, this muffler can be paired with Borla resonator 400939 to achieve a Touring sound level.
