The Borla ProXS series universal muffler (MPN 40359) is engineered for custom exhaust builders seeking a high-flow, corrosion-resistant solution. Manufactured from premium T-304 austenitic stainless steel, this muffler is designed to resist oxidation and rust over the life of the vehicle. The 100% welded construction provides maximum structural integrity, ensuring the case remains secure under high exhaust temperatures and vibrations.
The straight-through, free-flow internal design reduces backpressure to improve exhaust scavenging and performance. For sound management, Borla utilizes high-temperature continuous-filament fiber (CFF) acoustic material to provide a refined tone without sacrificing flow. Its reversible design offers installation flexibility, allowing the 3-inch ports to be used in either a center or offset configuration.
