The Borla PRO-XS universal muffler (400477) is engineered for performance applications where space is at a premium. Featuring a free-flow internal design, this oval-body muffler minimizes backpressure to improve exhaust velocity and engine efficiency. Its reversible configuration allows for installation flexibility, accommodating either center-in/offset-out or offset-in/center-out plumbing requirements.
Built to withstand high-heat environments and resist corrosion, the muffler is manufactured from 100% welded T-304 austenitic stainless steel. The notched inlet and outlet necks are designed for a secure, easy clamp-on installation. For sound management, Borla utilizes high-temperature continuous-filament fiber (CFF) acoustic material to deliver consistent tonal control without the packing degradation common in lesser mufflers.
