The Borla 60746 is a universal 3" Hydroformed SwitchFire X-Pipe engineered for custom exhaust fabrication where space and performance are paramount. Utilizing a specialized hydroforming process, this unit achieves a significantly lower profile than conventional X-pipes, providing critical ground clearance for lowered vehicles or tight chassis tunnels without sacrificing flow.

Unlike standard X-pipe designs that suffer from turbulent center intersections, Borla’s patented SwitchFire design truly blends the combustion pulses from both cylinder banks. This eliminates turbulence and improves scavenging to produce an aggressive custom sound and enhanced power delivery. Each unit is constructed from premium T-304 austenitic stainless steel—a material far superior to T-400 series alternatives in terms of corrosion resistance and longevity. The un-notched necks are optimized for a clean weld-in installation, but can be adapted for clamping with a 3" wide band clamp (Borla PN 18006).
