The Borla Universal Performance muffler (40657) is engineered for custom exhaust applications where space is at a premium. Its compact footprint and reversible design provide maximum installation flexibility for various chassis configurations. This muffler features a straight-through, free-flow internal design to minimize backpressure and optimize exhaust scavenging.
Constructed from premium T-304 austenitic stainless steel, this unit is built to withstand high-heat environments without rusting. The 100% welded assembly ensures long-term structural integrity, while the internal high-temperature continuous-filament fiber (CFF) acoustic material provides consistent sound suppression without the packing degradation common in lesser mufflers.
