The Borla XR-1 Racing Sportsman 40942 is a universal high-flow muffler engineered for competitive racing applications where space and weight are at a premium. Utilizing Borla's patented flow-through technology, this XR-1 Raceline series muffler provides maximum exhaust velocity and power while reducing interior cabin noise. This model is constructed from premium austenitic stainless steel for superior durability under high-heat racing conditions.
This universal muffler features a reversible design for flexible mounting and un-notched necks designed primarily for weld-in installation. For those preferring a clamp-on setup, a 3-inch wide band clamp (Borla part #18004) is required. Its compact oval dimensions make it an ideal solution for vehicles with limited chassis or transmission clearance.
