Designed as a ground-up replacement for the factory unit, the Clutch Masters DCT Steel Flywheel addresses common failure points found in OE flywheels when engine output is increased. Engineered specifically for high-performance 2.5L Turbo 5-cylinder and 2.0L Turbo setups, this flywheel utilizes a hardened 4140 billet steel hub to provide maximum torque capacity and drivetrain durability.
Through computer-simulated stress analysis, this hardened hub has been tested to withstand up to 3,500 ft/lbs of torque—over three times the capacity of many factory-replacement options. Whether you are building a high-horsepower RS3 or performing a DQ500 transmission swap on a 2.0L application, this flywheel delivers the structural integrity required for aggressive power delivery.
