The Clutch Masters FX500 System is engineered for extreme racing applications, providing a 200-400% increase in holding capacity compared to OE specifications. This system utilizes the Power Plus II pressure plate combined with a solid, unsprung ceramic puck disc or a sintered iron disc. Designed for maximum heat dissipation and rapid engagement, the FX500 is built to handle high-torque race environments. Please note that this kit is designed for competition use only; the heavy pedal pressure and natural clutch chatter make it unsuitable for street driving.
- Series: FX500 (Race Only)
- Pressure Plate: Power Plus II with high-leverage design and heavy-duty straps
- Disc Type: Solid (rigid/unsprung) 6 or 8 puck ceramic button
- Construction: Precision heat-treated diaphragms and ductile iron casting
- Installation: Includes special friction-reducing lubricant to prevent diaphragm binding
