The Clutch Masters FW-694-SF flywheel is precision-engineered for enthusiasts seeking improved throttle response and quicker engine acceleration. Designed and manufactured in the USA, each flywheel begins as a CAD model before being precision CNC machined from 6061 aluminum or 1045 steel billet cores. This construction provides a significant reduction in rotational mass compared to heavy OEM cast flywheels, helping to reduce turbo lag and improve engine response.
Every flywheel is zero-balanced by a Clutch Masters craftsman to ensure true rotation at high RPMs and prevent vibration. To protect the integrity of the material, aluminum units receive a Type 3 Hard Anodized finish while steel units are treated with a black oxide coating for superior rust prevention. All Clutch Masters flywheels are SFI 1.2 Certified, meeting the rigorous safety standards required for competitive motorsports.
