The Cobb Exhaust Hanger Kit for the Gen2 Mazdaspeed3 is an essential upgrade for owners looking to stabilize their exhaust system. Factory rubber hangers are often too soft, allowing the exhaust to sway during spirited driving or under heavy load. This movement can lead to annoying rattles, potential contact with the rear bumper or chassis, and stress on the exhaust manifold and hangers.
This kit replaces the original equipment with high-durability hangers that provide a much firmer mount. It is particularly recommended when installing larger-diameter aftermarket cat-back or turbo-back exhaust systems that require more support than the stock bushings can provide. These hangers install directly into the factory mounting points without modification.
