Fits select 2004-2017 Subaru Forester, Impreza, WRX, WRX STI, and Legacy models equipped with EJ255 or EJ257 2.5L turbo engines.
The Cometic MLX (Multi-Layer Stopper) head gasket is engineered to provide superior combustion chamber sealing for high-performance Subaru builds. Built upon the proven foundation of MLS (Multi-Layer Steel) technology, the MLX series introduces an integrated stopper layer. This design increases clamp load around the cylinder without requiring higher torque specs that could lead to bore distortion. Each gasket is constructed from multiple embossed layers of high-grade stainless steel, finished with a Viton rubber coating for reliable sealing against fluid passages.
