The Cometic Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) head gasket provides maximum sealing performance for high-output engines without the need for additional sealants. Engineered to withstand the extreme shearing forces common in aluminum-to-aluminum or aluminum-to-cast iron engine configurations, this gasket (MPN C4574-036) features multiple embossed layers of stainless steel that offer superior rebound and corrosion resistance. The outer layers are finished with a Viton rubber coating, rated for temperatures up to 250°C (482°F), to ensure a reliable seal across various surface finishes and load conditions.
