Fits 2006-2011 Honda Civic Si and 2008 Civic MUGEN Si models. This Cometic Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) head gasket is engineered to provide maximum sealing performance for high-output engines without the need for additional sealants.
Constructed from multiple embossed layers of stainless steel, this gasket features outer layers coated with a 0.25 micron Viton rubber layer. This fluor elastomer material is heat resistant up to 250°C (482°F), allowing it to withstand the harsh environments and high temperatures of modified engines. The MLS design is specifically effective at managing the shearing forces between aluminum heads and blocks or cast iron blocks. By requiring less clamp load, it helps reduce bore distortion and ensures even load distribution across the sealing surface.
