This Cometic Blower Snout Gasket is engineered using Aluminum Foamette Material (AFM), a high-performance sealing solution consisting of a chemically blown, compounded nitrile synthetic rubber bonded to an aluminum core. Designed to withstand the high-stress environment of supercharged 6.2L Hemi engines, this gasket provides superior sealing without the need for additional sealants or periodic re-torquing.
The aluminum core provides the necessary structural integrity and torque retention, while the nitrile rubber layer offers an 85% recovery rate, ensuring a reliable seal even under fluctuating temperatures and pressures.
