This Cometic Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) head gasket is engineered to provide maximum sealing performance for high-output BMW engines. Constructed from multiple layers of embossed stainless steel, it offers increased strength and the ability to rebound under pressure, resisting corrosion and the shearing forces common between aluminum heads and cast iron blocks. The outer layers feature a Viton rubber coating, heat-resistant up to 250°C (482°F), ensuring a reliable seal even in harsh conditions without the need for additional sealants.
