Fits select 2001-2008 BMW M3, Z3 M, and Z4 M models (3.2L S54 engine). This Cometic Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) Head Gasket is engineered to provide the superior sealing performance required for high-output BMW engines without the need for additional sealants.
Constructed from multiple layers of embossed stainless steel, this gasket is designed to handle the thermal expansion and shearing forces common in engines utilizing aluminum heads and cast iron or aluminum blocks. The outer layers are coated on both sides with Viton, a fluoroelastomer rubber capable of withstanding temperatures up to 250°C (482°F). This specialized coating ensures a reliable seal across various surface finishes and load conditions while the stainless steel core provides structural integrity and corrosion resistance.
